In Jackson MS, on June 26th 2011, James Craig Anderson was beaten and killed by a group of teens led by 18 year old Deryl Dedmon, Jr. Hate Crimes still exist and if we don’t acknowledge this injustice, it will fade into the newspaper archives like every other time a man is mistreated, assaulted and/or killed for being a certain color.
